We currently sponsor over 100 orphans (largely victims of parents who died from HIV) with food, literature and self-funded donations of clothing and basic goods
These children do not have sponsors to pursue an education; our goal is to change that – Uganda is a young population; the median age is 15.4 years old
We are in multiple grant cycles to support funding a school for these orphans and other local underprivileged children to avoid an imminent future of illiteracy, child pregnancy and life on the street
We have purchased the land, self-funded four staff quarters to begin on curriculum development and are beginning to build the foundation as funds become available; multiple grants have been submitted however approval cycles are long for these higher investment proposals
