Feed a man, he is fine for a day; teach him to feed himself he is healthy for life

In partnership with our local district we have secured access to  1000 acres of viable land with a clean water source to begin a community farming program.  What this entails:

  • Quality soil that has already been tilled but needs fertilized
  • List of high yield healthy food items to be grown in both a garden and greenhouse setting
  • Hatchery, animal husbandry and dairy setup in a confined humane farm setup
  • Classroom to teach (at no charge) how to effectively manage and grow food, how to prepare balanced meals, and semi-mature plant donations to participants to begin gardens in their village while teaching others
  • We are currently in the funding application round for seeds/greenhouse/hatchery/dairy production however the rest has been established and multiple grants have been submitted to achieve the remaining funding to begin this critical initiative
  • 1/3 of farm land – quick yield crops to address food shortage, 1/3 longe term commodities (coffee, cotton, tea, etc), 1/3 forestry
